One of the first cement structures in the United States. The material and the contractor used to build this house were imported from England. architect was George H. Edbrooke. The contractor was Leonard Double.

This is one of the oldest homes in Lake Forest. It is constructed of concrete, stone and wood. The second and third stories housed men from the armed forces and their families.
