Wendy Giangiorgi: "Now that she's older, I've been lecturing my oldest daughter (8 years old) about the importance of voting. My daughters (ages 8 and 5) and I went to the West Lake Forest train station to vote in the primary on March 17. My older daughter insisted we not do early voting because she wanted to do it on the "real" day. I had them wear their jackets and told them they were to keep their hands in their pockets *the whole time" and not rub up against anything. As for me, I Purell-ed before and after. I was the only one voting at the time, and if I'm remembering correctly, everyone working the polling place had masks and gloves on. There were also Lysol canisters with wipes available. I think everyone working that day did a fantastic job!"Photograph Details
