Description

Chicago, North Shore & Milwaukee Railroad On May 27, 1924, we are looking north along Sheridan Road in Lake Bluff south of what is today known as Sheridan Place. The track diverging to the left is the connection to the Libertyville-Mundelein Branch from the Shore Line Route. About one block north of this was the site of the first North Shore Line station in Lake Bluff at Truesdell Avenue, now known as Sheridan Place. images are also on a CD (1982.3.1 - 1982.3.29)
