Description

Chicago, North Shore & Milwaukee Railroad The platforms for the North Shore Line's original Lake Bluff station were on the north side of Scranton Avenue. The station at Truesdell Avenue came later. The more commonly known station for the Shore Line Route was built on the south side of Center Street. The platforms for this station are being extended in early 1924. This station should not be confused with the Scranton Avenue station for the Skokie Valley Route that was on the west side of the Chicago & Northwestern tracks. images are also on a CD (1982.3.1 - 1982.3.29)
