Pembroke Lodge 500 North Green Bay Road Lake Forest owners: David Benton Jones; Gwethalyn Jones architects: Henry Ives Cobb; renovated by David Alder 1895; 1935 Original property stretched from Green Bay Road to the Skokie River valley and from Westminster Avenue on the north almost to Pembroke Drive on the south. Garage designed by Stanley Anderson in 1928. Carriage house at 530 N. Green Bay; Chauffeur's quarters at 454 Oakwood; Servants' quarters at 210 Vine. photo taken by Miss S. Jones left-right: Mason Phelps, Thomas D. Jones, Dr. Frank Billings, M. Marcel Loyau, possibly Mme. Loyau, possibly Mme. Lambert, Edward H. Bennett, M. Jacques Lambert. M. Loyau was the sculptor of the sea horses in Buckingham Fountain, Chicago. M. Lambert did the architectural details for the fountain, designed by Edward Bennett. E.H. Bennett was the son-in law of David Jones
