Moved from the west side of Washington Road, north of Walnut, near current location of 770 N. Washington
First schoolhouse in Lake Forest. In 1867 it stood on the NW corner of Washington and Walnut and was remodled into a residence. In 1905 the property was purchased by Ezra J Warner, Sr. and cleared for construction of his estate. The former school house was moved to its present location in 1908
