Part of this house originally stood on Western Avenue (Approx. 490 North) Pratt was the depot master, postmaster and operated a dry good store.

Includes two buildings moved from other locations: west end moved 1902 by L.H.W. Speidel from SW corner Western Avenue and Market Square. Polygonal projection on south façade added after 1902 - this section formerly owned by E.M. Samuels on Sheridan Road near Walnut Road, was at one time a general store and stood on the site of the present Methodist Church.
