Description

Red leather bound scrapbook with gold embossed design on front, and gold embossed bordering on the back. 82 pages in total, with most being used. The book documents the Keehn family's vacation in Spain from September to November of 1927. Contents include personal pictures seemingly taken by the family, and postcards from various desinations in Spain, such as Madrid and Mallorca. The postcards also include famous people, such as past Spanish royalty. Most of the personal pictures are accompanied by handwritten captions which date and describe each image. At the front of the scrapbook, there are eight loose items. Six of the items are photographs or portraits from various dates. There is also a page from the New York Times, dated 1930. In addition to this, there is a small booklet which contains the engagement accouncemts of Roy Dee Keehn jr's duaghter, a newspaper scrap, a letter from the sporting journal The Chronicle, two pieces of poetry by Pat Keehn, and two photos, one being of an event room, and one being of Jane Keehn and her family.
