Brown leather bound scrapbook. Floral relief bordering on both the front and the back. The cover also has a relief featuring six classical figures, possibly cherubim. 65 pages in total with most being used. The book documents the Keehns' 1927 trip to Northern Africa, and contains their personal photographs and postcards from various destinations, such as Kabylia and Tunisia. the photographs and postcards depict a wide range of things, such as the desert climate and geography, locals, foreign vehicles, and architecture. Some of the images are accompanied by handwritten captions.
At the front of the book, there are three large loose prints. They depict a walkway with palm trees, a desert with camels, and the portrait of a man, respectively. None are dated. but each has a caption written on the back with pencil.Lexicon
