Description

Penny Palmer with the Pavlovich family dog, Rusty. The Palmers lived at 1787 Old Mill Road. According to neighbor Ron Seyl, "Penny Palmer with neighbors the Pavlovich's dog Rusty. Penny is standing near what would be the east curb of Littlefield Court today. At the time this was the Pavlovichs' Old Mill Gardens and Hobby Farm. The big tree in the background is where 1540 Littlefield Court is today. Penny was very popular, a great horsewoman, worked at Onwentsia Stables with Mr. Hewitt. She broke and trained the Pavolvichs' colt Cheyenne. The Palmers lived across the road and had 4 horses in a 3-car garage. Mr. Palmer was a war hero from WWII, a great guy! His ashes were sprinkled on the property after they moved. They loved 1787 Old Mill. The property was the Tully farm house bought by Albert Lasker, 80+ acres and they made Lasker building them a house (Brick) third west of Telegraph, north side. The farm's now Wedgewood Subdivision."
