Front has letter written in black ink, "Better late than never, but the postals have just come this day. That show the white house (?) What is your Washington address? Please answer when you have an extra five minutes. I would not send a postal during the holidays because I did not know your address and these have just come so this is my first chance. Marie, March 1906."
Verso: "Miss Katherine Schmidt Eden Hall, Gorresdale, PA. Postmarked March 24, 1906."
At this time the writer was not permitted by the U.S. Post Office to write on the back of the postcard. It was not until it was decided to place a line down the center, leaving the left side for the message. Later Barat College.Made/Created
