Description

Dr. Lori Ann Halvorson, audiologist, Lake Forest Hearing Professionals: "Hearing affects emotions more than any other sense. Lake Forest Hearing is available to help you hear better and easier during social isolation so you feel safe. Social distancing does not have to be lonely. Not being able to hear family, friends, your doctor on the telephone, or the doorbell ring when food is delivered is isolating and lonely. It is like taking away cell phones from people with normal hearing, leaving them without a connection to the world. This is what hearing loss feels like. Dr. Halvorson at Lake Forest Hearing feels it is of paramount importance to help people hear better and easier during social isolation so they feel safe and can connect with loved ones, health care providers and hear their doorbell ring when food is delivered."
