If you look at #5 [absent from 2022.5.15], youll find one of them. #2 hung in the sitting room, to the right, off the front hall, first floor of the big house, moved there by Dorothy because she liked Marcina's electric, bright colors."
"#3: This hung in Hayloft, on the second floor. Its large, about five by five and people who see it for the first time, often asked if M.C. [Mary Cornelia, wife of donor] painted it. It is untitled and although people recall seeing it in Hayloft, no one knows who painted it. It might have been a purchase when Mary and Arthur were in Europe so often; Mary might have commissioned it for she had artists living in the compound all the time."
