Description

165 North Green Bay Road Owners: John Andrews King and Helen Hinde King and H.H. King, Mr. and Mrs. James P. Stirling Built around 1858. Remodeled in 1924-25 by Stanley Anderson and in 1930's by David Adler. Part of the house is said to have been an old post office that was moved to the site from Western Avenue and a school house in Lake Forest, could have been two homes, drawn together. terrace was designed by David Adler received a 1992 Lake Forest Preservation Foundation Award
