Also included is a description of the photo:
"This heifer calf was dropped at Arcady, May 13th, 1918, was donated by Mr. Drew TenBroeck of McLean, Illinois, and was sold at the annual auction of the American Guersusey Cattle Club, held May 16th, at Arcady Farm, Lake Forest, ILL., Col. Geo. W. Bain and L.F. Herrick, auctioneers, for the benefit of the American Red Cross Society, the amount realized being $20,750.
In the photograph are two distinguished Guernsey breeders, Mr. W. W. Marsh of Waterloo, Iowa, and Mr. Charles L. Hill of Rosendale, Wisconsin, both members of the Executive Committee of the American Guernsey Cattle Club, and Arthur Meeker. Below is a list of the generous subscribers to the fund:"Made/Created
