Postcard flipbook. The cardboard body says "Lake Forest, IL. Street View Looking North." Open up the flap and you see the sites of Lake Forest and Lake Forest College, 13 images in all. They include: Western Avenue street view looking north, LF R.R. Depot, City Hall, Henry Durand Art Institute, University College, North Hall of University College, Gymnasium of University College, Lois Durand Hall of University College, Central School (Gorton), Convent Sacred Heart (Barat), Episcopal Church, Onwentsia Club, and the Winter Club. All of these locations had their own flap and had a photo of that place. copyright 1906 by the Rotograph Co., printed in Germany. "Be it known that, LEO BRAUN, residing at Munich, in the Kingdom of Bavaria, in the German Empire, have invented a certain new and useful Souvenir Mailing-Card, of which the following is a specification."
