First page includes typed note with photograph of Virginia Fiester Frederick "State Representative--59th District and former Dress Designer Extraordinaire." Note is dated December 24, 1987 - but photographs are from c. 1960s-1970s.
Note reads: "This album has been put together by her admiring husband [Kenneth Frederick], who stands in awe of her creative ability and originality. It is presented as a birthday tribute. The photographs are enlargements taken from 35 mm slides photographed by her loving brother, the late Dick Heise of Des Moines, Iowa.
