A slide from a 1960s-70s architecture class at Lake Forest High School.
"Holt House, 1860. First owner was Devillo Holt, one of the original Lake Forest Association trustees. The house was masonry, covered with frame siding, because at the time, it was considered to be more attractive than brick. Mr. Holt was in the lumber business. The house was donated to Lake Forest College to be kept as a community landmark, assume it has protective covenants."
