Steven Frisk: "Here I am working at Home Depot on Monday night March 30th, 2020. It is 8:00 P.M. and the store has closed at 6:00 P.M. Normally we are open to 10:00 A.M. Monday-Friday, but the company has shortened hours to 6:00 P.M. seven days a week. The company has truly taken care of its employees in the sense that it has not cut anyone’s hours, thus allowing them to work their normal hours scheduled (even while being closed, we stock and clean up and prep the store for the next day) and has tacked on an additional 20 hours sick pay for part timers and 40 hours sick pay for full timers. I have heard tonight that they are tacking on 80 hours sick pay for diabetics! All of that in addition to the normal sick pay allowances that are quite robust.
Thank you Home Depot for taking care of your associates in such a manner when so many people are getting laid of off/furloughed in these troubled times. Great company to work for!"Photograph Details
