Black and white 5 x 7 photograph of Gorton School. A negative and print of image are included. Photograph has a very gray pixelated surface. Originally called the Central School, in 1905 it was renamed the Gorton School in honor of the nineteenth mayor of Lake Forest, Edward F. Gorton (1895-1902). In 1972 Gorton School was converted to the Gorton Community Center.
