Black and white re-print 8 x 10 photograph of Gorton School. Originally called the Central School, in 1905 it was renamed the Gorton School in honor of the nineteenth mayor of Lake Forest, Edward F. Gorton (1895-1902). In 1972 Gorton School was converted to the Gorton Community Center.
