Description

A group of men and boys, varying in age, all in uniform. Associated with American Legion McKinlock Post 264 or the Boy Scout Troop 48. Circa 1961. Top row (adults): McKinley Gray, John Anderson, Barney Fife Front row (youth): Billy Olsen, ?, Edward Cornell. Edward Cornell received his Eagle Rank on April 19, 1961 - this photo is after that. Patches and insignia: Cub Scout, second class Boy Scout, Ma Ka Ja Wan order of the arrow lodge flap on the pocket. The boy with the hat is also wearing a North Shore Council patch on the pocket. Arthur Widerstrom? John Anderson was a gardener at one of the estates on Deerpath and a devoted Boy Scout leader. McKinley Gray was a veteran, American Legion member, and also drove the school bus for District 67.
