General Notes

Note

Notes: In 1921, local boosters "rescued" President-elect Harding when his yacht was blocked by a barge in the Intracoastal Waterway and brought him to town to play a round of golf at the newly constructed Southside Golf Course. The "conspiritors" included Commodore Brook aboard his yacht "Klyo."
