This image shows the Dania Beach Blvd. bridge across the Intracoastal, the cloverleaf, Whiskey Creek Marina and what is now Dr. Von Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park. The Recreation Area (upper center) was from the 1940s until 1960 the official segregated beach for the use of the African American citizens of Broward County. It was formally named, John U. Lloyd State Park.
