Champion Bridge built bridge over New River in 1915, as well as the first bridge to connect Fort Lauderdale with the beach in 1917, "thus giving birth to Fort Lauderdale tourist industry." Also references other bridges built by Champion Bridge in Delray Beach, Jupiter, Boynton [pp.22-29].
