Baker's Coconut ad: Everybody's Going Coconutty... About Baker's New Angel Flake. Half-page (vertical) color advertisement by (Franklin Baker Division) General Foods, (Hoboken, N.J.) as published in unknown magazine, April 1956, pg. 106. Clipped leaf, 6-3/4" x 13-1/4" high; ad 5-1/4" wide. Promoted Baker's Angel Flake Coconut; New Tender-Thin Flakes. A canned product. It is probable that there was a complementary 1/2 page ad on the opposite leaf as at the bottom of the one present is text - "Flakes for the fluffiest, whitest bunny cake you can make" with a red arrow point ing right. This portion is not present. This bunny cake is presumed to be the one seen on the cover of Baker's Coconut Cut-Up Cakes. A calendar of new cake-making ideas!
