Log Cabin Syryup ad: Such Fun! So Easy! Make your own Summer Treats with Log Cabin Syrup. Double full-page color magazine advertisement by Log Cabin Syrup Division, General Foods Corp. {Hoboken) as published in The Saturday Evening Post, July 25, 1953, pp. [54-55]. Folio removed from magazine, 21" wide x 13-1/2" high. Ad promoted the syrup as an ingredient in several desserts and a soda refreshment with images and recipes. -Log Cabin Snowball (also used Baker's Coconut - another General Foods Corporation brand and one that was also made in Hoboken at that time.) -Log Cabin Whip -Golden Glory Sundae -Log Cabin Soda -Maple Peach Sundae -Log Cabin Delight (also used Jell-O Vanilla or Butterscotch Pudding and Pie Filling - another General Foods Corporation brand.) Image of log cabin shaped tin and a syrup bottle.
