Stale cake, and visitors!
What a terrible plight -
Why didn't I wrap it
in moisture-proof CUT-RITE!
The cartoon drawing of a matronly woman lamenting over a cake was done by noted cartoonist William Steig (signed 'Steig' at upper left corner - Steig was a noted cartoonist and illustrator as well as author of many books including Shrek!, on which the motion picture series was based.)
