Public Service Railway streetcar no. 1703 is seen just north of Eleventh Street. The far view down Washington is to Weehawken Cove (at Fifteenth St.) where there are not yet any of the large Hoboken Manufacturers Terminal buildings. Masts are seen, whether of vessels or derricks is not discernible.
The building at the northwest corner of Washington and 11th Streets is an apothecary (pharmacy / drugstore); a sign for a dentist on the second floor is seen.
