Black-and-white photo of an unidentifed block in the first ward, possibly Clinton St., Hoboken, no date, ca. 1970-1975. Image from 35mm negative; 5" x 7" high digital print on file. Photographer not indicated, probably Helen Manogue or family member.
Direction of view is not known. Note that the next negative and print made from it marked as #20 (2006.042.0139) in this series are identified as "Clinton off 1st." The election campaign poster on the telephone pole: Elect Gogliucci for Councilman, First Ward, May [date not legible]. (Elections for council seats take place in odd number years.)

From a series of 20 images of Hoboken scenes taken as part of documentation for the Hoboken Environment Committee and used for promotion of a program called "Care Dammit! I Do. Sweep Up, Clean Up, Shape Up Hoboken." The prints were numbered 1 to 20 (matching the 35mm negative numbers) with print no. 19 missing. That print has been replaced by a digital print from the negatives. Series is in photo catalogue 2006.042.0120 to .0139.
