Black-and-white photograph of Hoboken Aerie, No. 603 (Fraternal Order of Eagles) Military Band, Hoboken?, no date, circa 1910-1920.
5" x 7" wide print on 8" x 10" photographer's mount. Photograph taken by Falk, Art Photographer, 354 Broad St., Newark, N.J. (inkstamp credit on reverse.)
This marching unit is posed for the photo with their instruments and a lettered bass drum identifying the organization. Uniform hats, but no jackets, except for a couple men in suits and a fireman in the front holding cymbals. None of the men have been identified.
In the right background appears to be Elysian Park. If so, this would probably place them in a backyard on Castle Point Terrace.Acquisition
