Black-and-white photo of the exterior of Marcus Jewelers at its Grand Opening, Hoboken, April 3, 1954. 8" x 10" wide print. Photo was taken by George Van of Newark. Reverse has photographer's ink stamp, an ink date stamp and negative or job number 63136-1.
The store was at 106 Washington St. and went out of business ca. 1998. Decorated with bunting that was probably from United Decorating Co., Hoboken. Note the small sign in the second floor window for Dolly's Beauty Parlor.
