Black-and-white photo of the S.S. Diemerdyk or S.S. Dinteldyk (3) of Holland America Line, no place, no date, circa late 1950 to 1957.
7" x 9" wide print. Photographer not indicated. Reverse blank.
The S.S. Diemerdyk entered the fleet in June 1950 and the S.S. Dinteldyk (3) in 1957. These sister ships were essentially the same in profile. Any name on the bow is not legible. Based on the provenance it is more likely that this is the Diemerdyk during sea trials.
