Package insert: Man-Dazzlin Beauties - Coconut Dream Cakes! Glamorous Cakes of Prize Perfection... Thanks to Swans Down Cake Flour and Baker's Coconut. Copyright 1948 General Foods Corp. Printed leaf, 7-3/8" wide x 8-7/8" high; originally folded to 2-1/4" x 3-3/4" wide for distribution. Printed two sides in color with color photograph and depiction of packages for both products. Baker's Coconut was made by the Franklin Baker Division of General Foods in Hoboken during this period. Cross promotion of their products was often done. Even in this publication in the recipe on side 1, Calumet Baking Powder, another major product, is listed as an ingredient. The back has seven recipes plus boxed text: "New Swans Down cakes and more coconut delights are appearing continually in magazine advertisements and in package inserts. Watch for them." This text indicates that this sheet was probably created by Swans Down for insertion in flour packages.
