Scope and Content
Bill for repairing window at First Church of Christ, Scientist, Hoboken, 829 Bloomfield St., broken by boys playing baseball, June 20, 1949. Holographic pencil with Paid inkstamp and ink date.
Displays the routine expenditures and operations of a religious organization.
"Bill for repairing glass on window in annex room broken by boys playing ball in the lot. C.[Catherine?] Hemmelder. $2.50.
Mrs. Dewender."
While referring to an 'annex' it is unknown if this was the Reading Room or the Church. It was probably the church as empty lots south of the church existed since the buildings on the site were destroyed in the 1921 Benson Club fire.
