Billhead: Davis' O.K. Baking Powder. Leaves No Bad Taste in the Food. Over 12,000,000 people are Regular Users. Undated sales receipt from 1900 to 1909 (note printed dateline: 190_.) Single leaf printed two sides, 3-15/16" wide x 6-15/16" high. Pencil entries. Staple holes at top indicated booklet issue. Item was probably provided free to Davis customers, shopkeepers and retailers, for use in routine transactions and served Davis for promotional advertising. Back has a line-cut depiction of a Davis O.K. Baking Powder bottle with printed label and a cap seal (over a cork?). It does state R.B. Davis and New York on it. New York was the sales office, but the product at this time had been made and shipped from Hoboken for several years. Pencil entries on bill for a purchase: Cambridge Mfg. Co. 2 Bll (barrel?) Wheat 2.00 Paid 4/19 Luther Stack ---- promotional / advertising
