Effective January 1, 1965. Black pressboard multi-ring binder, 6-1/2" x 8-1/2"; no title on binder. Pages, 4-3/4" x 8; pp. [iv], 272 + 6 fold-out diagrams. Place of origination for this instruction manual is not stated. It would have been used by some Hoboken employees as such equipment was typically in use here in its role as the eastern rail terminus for its system and the major terminal for suburban trains which used Multiple Unit or MU Passenger Cars. The 2775 numbered questions and answers range from the simple to detailed and technical. A basic training manual for use over several years of study with tests given to measure progress. While unstated, this program was a way to assess the skills of its union labor force.
