Description
Button: [Re-elect] Mayor Russo; Council-at-Large Fitzsimmons, Moyeno, Hudock. Paid for by Russo Team 2001. (Hoboken, 2001).
Printed adhesive paper label (partially present) on 2-1/8" x 3-1/8" wide pin back button previously printed for a school board (Hoboken Board of Education?) election campaign.
An example of thriftiness in re-using a button from another campaign, whether done by the Russo campaign or their button supplier is unknown. The slate chalkboard motif revealed under the top label is typical of those used for school board elections.
Mayor Anthony Russo
The slate of three City Council members were all incumbents:
James Fitzsimmons
Nellie Moyeno
Steve Hudock
