4-1/4" wide x 6-3/8" high (slightly trimmed on bottom; probably original dimension 6-1/2".) Photograph taken by Conrad Magnus, 520 Washington St., Hoboken, N.J. (blind embossed imprint in lower front margin; full imprint on back.)
Bold ink signature of Westphal on back. His uniform is typical of those worn by steamship company personnel (and possibly an officer), but there is no legible detail that allows any specific company to be determined.
