4-1/4" x 6-1/2" high beveled gilt edge mount. Photograph taken by Louis Nagel, 192 Washington St. [old street number - modern 508], Hoboken, N.J. (imprint on back.)
Reverse also has modern ink identifications including note that Erna was "married to Ted Steinhaus."
From the known birthdates of these sisters (see below) and their apparent age, the photograph was taken very early after their immigration from Germany.
