Lithographed metal with key wind lid (key not present); 5" diameter x 4" high; bottom of container is unmarked. Original contents not present.
Printing is in yellow (gold) and red.
Hoboken became the American headquarters and main factory for the company in 1919 which is depicted on the front and is labeled: Lipton's Hoboken Factory. This container can be seen printed in a 1933 advertising premium, a jigsaw puzzle, objects 2013.005.0001.
Would have been used from 1926 to no later than 1936 as His Majesty King George V is listed in label text and he died in 1936.
