Laid in at front: price list for K&E slide rules, May 15, 1939. Attached to front pastedown is a sample card of a "Selection of K&E Drawing and Tracing Papers." Catalog is not priced as is stated in notice preceding pg [i]. Pocket at rear for published price list which is not present. Only pricing available is the slide rule list recorded above. The paper sample with 12 feelers is imprinted B.L. Makepeace, Inc. of Boston, Mass., selling agents for K&E Drawing Material and Surveying Instruments. Sample card is numbered "Copy No. 8419." Inscribed by owner: Saco Lowell Shops, Biddeford, Maine, Mr. Ridler. (Saco Lowell Shops made textile machinery.) The traditional bird's-eye view, a black-and-white drawing, "General Office and Factories, Hoboken, N.J." appears following the illustrated title. Leroy lettering products make first appearance in a catalog. 8vo decorated cloth boards
