Using lettering on image as the top, the view is looking northeast. The view includes Stevens Institute of Technology, Union Dry Dock Co., Maxwell House Coffee plant, Elysian Park, the former Bethlehem Steel Shipyard site, Lipton Tea building and Weekhawken Cove,
The photo was believed to be commissioned as documentation of an environmental pollution situation. Note the dark plumes in the water between Shipyard piers from 12th to15th Streets. Firm that produced the image is not known. See related. Images of group available on one CD in TIFF, JPEG and PDF.
