Description
Color copy photo of a black-and-white photo of tree planting ceremony at an unidentified street corner, Hoboken, no date, ca. 1935-40. 8" x 10" wide print. Reverse is blank. Photographer is unknown. None of the people are identified.
As the trees are bare and the 20 men and one boy are wearing warm outerwear, this was probably an early spring photo. From appearances, some the men are likely to be politicians or city officials. The white truck in the background is probably from the Puritan Garment Co. of Jersey City.
