Description
Digital color film of a parade (Ragamuffin / Halloween?), Hoboken, circa 1960-1962. Transfer to CD, MPG format, technical data unavailable. Running time: 0:27. Photographer not indicated, but presumed to be a member of the Esposito family. Media archives.
Quality: poor.
View is from an apartment above street level, apparently 1212 Washington Street, looking at a parade heading north on Washington Street. The Elysian Apartments (Yellow Flats) are in the background. The initial float appears to be a coffin on a flatbed truck with a person dressed as the devil or a vampire throwing candy to children. This truck was followed by a band, a bagpipe corps, a horse unit and some other floats.
