The view is east of the facade and entrance on Washington Street at Eleventh Street. The faded painted sign appears to once have had neon lettering. Listed in 1974 telephone directory as Maxwell Bar and Restaurant. This is the site that later became the restaurant "Maxwell's" that is a well know venue for musical artists.
