The business at this address, Universal Cleaners, closed in 2006. The removal of their sign found the outlines of a previous dry cleaning business at the same location. The sign probably dates from at least the 1940's (Ralph's was at this location in 1951 telephone directory). Universal is found in 1970's telephone directories.
Considered as a ghost sign.
