Building was built by the Hoboken Land and Improvement Company 1907-1908 (see library 2005.076.0016, page 104, for a 1907 advertisement with a photo of the architect's rendering of the building that is captioned "These up-to-date flats will be ready for occupancy about March 1, 1908.") The company's insignia in stone can be seen on the building. The building at the northeast corner of Bloomfield and Thirteenth Streets has entrances on both streets.
