Notes: 2012.044.0010 Once There Stood Twin Towers There Words & music by: SAM SCARDIGNO & EMANUEL GIACOBBE Ballad I take my walk each morning along the river side, Then without any warningI feel this hurt inside, never can erase the tears running down my face. My heart begins to race as I look at that empty space. OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! I could hear the people yell. OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! _ as the blazing towers fell. Once there stood twin towers there, rising in the sky. Now there's nothing but thin air where birds are free to fly. Now there's nothing but thin air, where birds are free to fly. © 2010 Sam G. Scardigno (H) 201-420-6760 (C) 201-401-4386 ==== [page 4] THIS SONG IS DEDICATED TO THE BRAVE FIREFIGHTERS, AND THE FINEST POLICE, LOCAL AND FROM A FAR, TO THE MEMORY OF THOSE WORKERS AND ALL THAT CAME TO HELP, WHO PERISHED ON 911. I want to thank Mr. Sam Scardigno and all our friends, who remind me Mr. Scardigno deserves every bit of credit and merit for his contribution to his country and the world of music.
