Scope and Content
Compact disk with 85 images of children's artwork depicting Hoboken images and scenes. Art made during school programs at the Museum 2005-2006. Original artwork on paper, varied in size: 8-1/2" x 11" blank leaves; printed form from work booklet; printed postcard; 11" x 17" blank leaf ;18" x 24" blank leaves. Sizes not recorded with image. Media included pencil, markers and crayons plus one collage. Disk contains JPEGs (RGB) scanned 2006 and a PDF. Two disks on file with images as TIFFs (CMYK) as used for production of map.
Images selected from larger group by Robert Foster. Names of children taken from artwork, front or back, some interpolated. In some cases they are anonymous or have only a first or last name. Ages of students ranged from ca. 6-7 years old to high school age. Children were students at All Saints School, Hudson Charter School, Wallace School, Elysian School. Location of original artwork is unknown.
